I am very pleased that, with the help of Jewish Federations Canada-United Israel Appeal, Kingston Jewish Council was able to purchase this wonderful 9 ft menorah that will light up the amphitheater of Springer Market Square for all 8 days of Hanukkah this year and for many years to come. I think this is a great way to acknowledge this the 10th anniversary of KJC’s annual “Light Up The Night” Hanukkah celebration at City Hall. This is a wonderful addition to Market Square and will be put up every year for Hanukkah. If you haven’t seen it already and are unable to attend LUTN on Wednesday December 28th, I urge you to go down to the Market Square amphitheater to take a look. Some pictures are included.
